Additional Educational Needs and Disability

Valley Gardens Middle School is a fully inclusive school which aims to ensure that all pupils achieve their potential personally, socially, emotionally, physically and educationally. We have an ARP (Additional Resource Provision) on site which caters for up to 10 pupils with moderate learning difficulties. We also have a number of pupils within the school with additional needs, some of which are supported by an EHCP.

Our SENCo, Mrs M Maddison, is an experienced SENCo who does additional work within the local authority to support other schools with their provision for pupils with additional needs and disabilities. Please feel free to contact her though the school office if you wish to ask for any further information.

Please find details of our offer to pupils with Additional Educational Needs and/ or Disabilities in the Useful Documents below. This offer has been produced in consultation with School and our families.
